The LIX Super Bowl was an American football game to see who the next champion would be for the NFL. Although it happened in 2025, it was for the 2024 season. The participating teams were the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles and the winner of the game was the Eagles, making it the second Super Bowl that the Eagles won, just seven years later.
The Chiefs were going into the Super Bowl already having won the last two Super Bowls. (LVII and LVIII) If they won LIX, they would have got a 3 peat which is where they would have won three in a row.
Many people suspected that the game was going to be a close one but they would be proven wrong: the game stats were 22 for the Chiefs and 40 for the Eagles so it wasn’t a close game. The Eagles were dominating the game with a score differential of 18.
Kendrick Lamar was the halftime show for the LIX Super Bowl. He also won five Grammies that year and the songs he performed were HUMBLE, DNA, Euphoria, Not Like Us, Luther featuring SZA, All the Stars featuring SZA, Squabble Up, Man At The Garden, and Peekaboo. On stage with him was SZA and off stage was Samuel L Jackson and Serena Williams. This Super Bowl took place in the Caesars Superdome, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
