Snow Last Year
Last school year, it only snowed once. It wasn’t enough for a snow day. It melted away the same day it came. We used 0/5 snow days last year.
Responsibilities
Many people like to be on top of their work, so missing school days isn’t an option for them. If you’re in 7th grade and up, if you miss just one day of school, you have a lot of work to catch up on. We could give these students the break they need between months with these extra snow days we still have. We could extend our spring break because that’s the last break before the SOLs.
Some New Jersey schools are using their extra snow days as days off.
Can we use our extra snow days?
