Bailey Rose Spinnenweber, also known as Bailey Spinn, is an alternative pop-rock singer who also makes skits on social media. She initially gained fame in 2022 with her “What Is My Task?” POV video. The skit skyrocketed on YouTube with over 39 million views and 2.7 million likes. Bailey has over 15 million followers on TikTok, nearly 5 million subscribers on YouTube, and 1.2 million on Instagram.
POV Era
Bailey Spinn started creating her POV skits in 2021. A POV is a video, usually short-form, from the perspective of the creator. For example, one of the many POV ideas in 2021-2022 was “Guess The Word On Your Head”, where a word appears on the person’s head and they must guess it within 3 tries. Bailey Spinn made skits with ideas similar to these, alongside other popular POV content creators such as Jessica Kaylee, Brianna Guidry, Jezelle Catherine, and Brianna Mizura. Soon, Bailey Spinn started to create music alongside her comedy skits.
Music Era
Bailey debuted with her first single, “Romance is Dead” on April 6th, 2023. It totaled over 4 million streams. The song’s theme is self-explanatory: love fading away and slowly becoming dead. Two months later, on June 15th, 2023, she released her second song, “Runner Up”. This song is about feeling like you’re never enough and always coming in second best. Runner Up blew up even more with almost 6 million streams on Spotify.

She then went on to release a few more singles, including “Happy Ending” which reached over 9 million streams on Spotify, “Time Machine” which is about never taking someone’s feelings as a joke, and as an Extended Play (EP) titled “My Worst Enemy”.
Style Change
In March 2024, Bailey Spinn stopped making POVs, much to the disappointment of many fans. She also switched her style from preppy to alternative/emo and dyed her hair black. Although Bailey received a lot of hate for her style change, she didn’t let that hold her back. On May 20th, she released “In Loving Memory”, a single about “killing” the girl she used to be. A while later, on September 20th, 2024, Bailey Spinn released “What if I”, another single about struggling to stay sane for even a day.

In January 2025, she released an alternative version of Runner Up, titled “Runner Up – Heavier”. On February 18, 2025, another single, “Cheap Motel”, came out. This song is about being treated like a “cheap motel” by someone toxic: being used for its benefits. At that time she wasn’t releasing new music very often, but little did her fans know that she had two huge surprises for them: An entire album and the return of her POV videos.
Loser!
“Loser!” is the title of Bailey Spinn’s most recent release, as well as her debut album. It contains 8 tracks: 4 old songs and 4 new songs. It was released on March 28th, 2025. The songs in “Loser!” (in order) are “Loser”, “Cheap Motel”, “Front Row Psycho”, “In Loving Memory”, “Super Glue”, “Kiss of Death”, “What if I”, and “Happy Ending”.

Return of the POVs/Conclusion
In early 2025, despite claiming that she had stopped making POV videos once and for all, Bailey Spinn continued making POVs, saying that it was part of who she was. This made fans happy, and now Bailey Spinn is living her best life, working on new music and comedy skits at the same time. I think Bailey Spinn makes amazing, relatable music, and my favorite songs by her are Super Glue, Kiss of Death, and Romance is Dead. What are your opinions on Bailey Spinn’s music and her content?
