40,000 years ago we had cave paintings, and now in 2025 we have 3-D art, animation, digital, acrylic, and more.
Olden times/stone age
Stone age art had started in the Upper Paleolithic time (40,000 years ago), stone age art was largely composed of utilitarian (useful or practical instead of attractiveness) objects. Art had varied among different civilizations and was dependent on needs. Art had gone through periodic abrupt changes when it had gotten more into the future. In prehistoric time, art had many meanings even today. Stone age artists had used natural pigments to add into the cravings they had made into stone. Stone age art had been around for 8-10,000 B.C to 4,000 B.C meaning stone age art is the longest time period in the human timeline.
Evolution of stone age art
Stone art had revolutionized from ancient cravings into cave walls and statues to contemporary (a person, living thing, or existing at the same time as another) masterpieces. Combining tradition with innovation from originally functioning decoration made different kinds of art, leading to the evolution of artistic styles.
