During the fun and chilly weather, there are many fun things to do with family and friends! We also have to get in the holiday spirit because Christmas is almost here, and we don’t want to be bored at home.
1. For family or friends, you could do burr baskets with their favorite things! It can be homemade things or recommendations, stuff from the dollar store or five below, or anything that will make them happy!
2. Cook a meal that could be made every December, so it can be a tradition that you cook yearly or homemade cookies.
3. Secret Santa is one of my favorites. You put it in a little bowl and put everyone’s names in it. It has to be a secret, and they should at least put 3-4 things in the paper.
4. Another fun one is to have an advent calendar and open a different little box every day until Christmas day. You can also make a DIY advent calendar or just open one until New Year’s!
5. A fun activity is to buy a gingerbread house and decorate it with candy or chocolates with your family or friends.
6. This one is already a tradition, but always decorate your Christmas Tree and add some snow, or just make it a little different this year, like adding some presents as decoration.
7. Another one is to play games with your family, like some fun games like Candy Land or Kahoot with your family.
8. A fun one you could do is wear an ugly sweater to celebrate the holidays. It would also be fun to do it with your friends because we are excited that Christmas is almost here!
9. Bake your favorite meal or trade it. It’s fun because you can try the other person’s meal and see if you like it. Do it every year until you finish, and then start again!
10. Watch a Christmas movie, and you can change it every year if you like. “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is a really good movie, or “Home Alone”!
December is a fun month to forgive and have fun with family and friends. Also, feel free to try most of them because they are really fun! Happy holidays!
