Santa has magic to get to all the houses in one night, but what if he didn’t have magic?
Well, he has to travel around the world all in one night. So how fast does he have to go to get to all the houses? Well if we assume he uses his sleigh (which he probably does), he would need to go at 6,650,808 MPH. Since the reindeer are flying it, how much do they have to carry? Well, if there are 9 reindeer and 2,546,879 pounds to carry, each one would carry 282,987 pounds.
But what if Santa time-traveled? Well, if he took 10 seconds, and if there were 396 million houses that celebrate Christmas, he would experience 123 years of putting presents under trees. I don’t think he would like milk and cookies after that.
But how much milk and cookies would he eat? Well if there are 2 cookies at each house, and 396 million houses that celebrate Christmas, that would leave 792 million cookies for Santa to eat. That would be 61,776,000,000 calories.
Completing this task is a feat that is nearly impossible to complete, but Santa always finds a way.
