On March 26, 2024. A large cargo ship hit the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore. This caused the bridge to collapse. The cargo ship called “The Dali” had departed from the Port of Baltimore when it lost its engine and navigation equipment power. Eight construction workers were working during the collapse. Though two had been rescued, the six other workers were killed in the destruction.
