A Total Solar Eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the sun and the earth, blocking the sun’s face entirely. On April 8th, 2024, a Total Solar Eclipse will occur across the United States, and its line of totality will diagonally intersect the Midwest and South.
If you want to view the eclipse, it is essential to wear the special eclipse glasses; if not, you will injure your eyes. Even if the moon is blocking most of the sun, it’s still damaging to look at the sun directly.
It is a rare chance for people to see this eclipse. The following observable Total Solar Eclipse that will pass the U.S. will be in the year 2044.
Be safe, and make sure to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience!
