On the 18th of March, all the LJMS seventh graders went on a field trip to the National Mall. The reason behind this? It was to learn more about the Vietnam War, the Korean War, and the history of America overall. During the field trip, each student had a paper slip they had to complete; the paper was to help the students understand what the monuments stood for. At noon, the whole seventh-grade group grouped again to eat lunch and hang out at the Lincoln Memorial. Surprisingly, the weather was freezing and windy! What happened to the 70-degree temperature last week? Overall, it was an enjoyable experience with multiple students learning from the field trip!
