March is Women’s History Month. We spend this month remembering the outstanding accomplishments of historical women worldwide. There are many phenomenal women in history.
Marie Curie, better known for her studies in radioactivity, was the first woman to win a Nobel prize. She was awarded the 1903 Nobel prize for physics.
More recently, at this year’s Grammy’s, many women have won awards for major categories; Taylor Swift has become the first artist to be awarded Album of the Year four times.
Though March is coming to an end, we should still honor the many women who have done great things for the world and continue to do great things.
