Advisory used to be an entire period; we would have it every other day. A whole period is 90 minutes; we would have a small lesson, and then, if needed, we could go to a different class to work there. Advisory was time to catch up on missing or late work you had to do. But now we have advisory for 45 minutes every day, and with a lesson and recess, we have little time to do any work and meet with teachers if needed. Although we have it every day of the week, we still would have more time to do work if it was 90 minutes like last year. With the new star time, recess, and a lesson that could take up to 15 minutes, we only have around 10 minutes to do what we want.
What do you think about this? What do you dislike or like about it? Should these new timings stay or go?
