The FCPS county had 5 snow days last year and the rest of the days of school would’ve been online. In this past month FCPS has decided to not have online snow days and to only to have the days completely off. Due to us not having online school they have changed the amount of snow days from 5 to 11. FCPS has realized that the students would not join the online school and if they were to join they would unable to focus. FCPS thought that with the online school that was used in 2020 during the pandemic they would use the online school for snow days because FCPS has experience with all of the online classes. they have seen how the kids have not participated with the classes and don’t even show up to the online calls. So to summarize it, FCPS has changed to no online school for the best.
