My life In Quarantine

A computerized picture of the Coronavirus

Currently, the world is being hit by a pandemic: Covid-19. School, malls, restaurants, almost everything has been closed and we have been stuck in quarantine for over a month. I’ve been doing a lot of things and thinking a lot about the current situation.

With the extra free time, I can do so much more. I’ve been listening to music, spending time with my family, playing soccer, going out for walks, taking pictures, etc. When I go out, I have to wear a mask and sometimes gloves if I’m going into a store. I have to stay at least 6 feet away from other people and leave the house as little as possible.

With all this time, I’ve also had a lot of time to think about the situation. I’m thankful for how lucky I am to be able to enjoy the extra time. I know some people are really struggling. There’s increased unemployment, people have lost jobs and are low on money, thousands of people are tested positive every day and people are dying from the virus. We also have to be careful around other people and it’s depressing to know I or someone I know could get infected any day. Overall, the experience is a mix of ups and downs.
