Soda That’s Poppin’

By: Madeline Seminaro, Journalist

Soda is sodium bicarbonate with flavor and water. That’s it. Now, don’t go confusing soda with seltzer water because seltzer water can be an great other option because it doesn’t have sugar, calories, and chemicals. If you haven’t soda you should try it. The fizzy water with flavor and sugar! How could you not drink soda?

This related to engineering because the sodium bicarbonate that makes the bubble in the soda isn’t just a chemical that you can make, you have to put air pressure into the liquid. The air pressure pump is related to engineering because you have to manufacture this product.
