D-Wave’s 2000Q QPU (quantum computer) can compute 2000 Qubits, it is currently the record holder for most bits a marketed computer can compute. Considering the average everyday computer can only compute 2 cubits, I think it is a pretty big deal. With even faster performance the computer can solve even more problems.

D-Wave QPUs outperformed competitive classical algorithms by 1000 to 10000 times in pure computation time. The benchmark comparisons were relative to single CPU cores and 2500-core GPU at the largest problem size. In the future D-wave believes to have better and faster QPU’s.
