Day 2 #energybicycle

Day+2+%23energybicycle

By: Ethan Vu

Today we have changed our course of action.  Instead of using wind power, we are going to have an attachment that uses the bicycle gears that are connected to a generator and when it spins it will produce an energy.  It is more efficient than wind power because wind power is reliant on wind and spinning on the gears makes more rotations than the wheel itself.  We also made a prototype of the gear system.

Our problem:  you are biking down the street and your phone runs out of battery.  We want to make sure your phone does not run out of battery while you bike so you can charge your phone while biking.
