The 2 Boeing 737 Max 8 crashes may have just been coincidences

Both Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 and Lion Air Flight 610 both flew for some time and crashed. The link? The Boeing 737 Max 8 was the plane used in both flights. This caused a furor in the aviation industry and put Boeing under a lot of fire. However, aviation expert Peter Lemme believes these crashes were not related.

It is suspected that in Lion Air Flight 610, an inaccurate sensor reported false information to a program which caused the plane to crash. However, this was more of the pilots error, since they did not pull up in time to avoid the crash. The Ethiopian Airlines flight has not had its evidence properly examined, and therefore it cannot be determined what caused the crash.

This relates to engineering because aviation engineering has to do with flight in our atmosphere and aerospace engineering, which is space and atmospheric flight is its category.
