Samsung S10 Powershare Feature

Samsung S10 Powershare Feature

When the new Samsung S10, S10E, and the S10 released earlier this month, on March 8th, they came with a new feature, known as Wireless Powershare. This basically turns the phone into a wireless charger. The device being charged must have the Qi wireless charging capability, which almost all new products have, and many older generations of phones and watches also have. The Samsung that is doing the charging must have at least 30% of battery charge left, and it charges quite slowly at 4.5 watts. You charge your device, by turning the S10 over onto its screen, and putting the device being charged on the back in the middle of the phone. The phone charges quite slowly, so that it doesn’t over heat and cause issues.

This is a brand new feature that is unique to the S10. This feature is the first of its kind, so of course it might have issues. The engineers at Samsung had to create this and get it to work, but also keep it from over heating and blowing up the battery.
