The Technology inside the Adidas Predator 18+

By: Joel Caceres

The technology inside this cleat can change how you play soccer. The touch is phenomenal, because of the Control Skin, that are ridges that extend across the top of the cleat that absorb the impact. It is also laceless, which allows a bit better control. The only downside about that is that it costs($300) $75 more than the Predator 18.1 which is $225, which is the same cleat but has laces. The insole is made out of Adidas boost so it feels more comfortable. This is related to engineering because the engineers who made it had to find out how to make a laceless boot while still being firm and stand by itself.
