#WallClimingRobot Day 1

By: Justin Cudney

After researching the components of a wall climbing robot for about 3 weeks, we found all the parts we need and sent the order-form. Now, while we wait, we decided that we were going to 3D-print the wheels. The first wheel turned out great, but it was taking too long to print. Eventually, we got a better PLA (plastic) material and printed the other three at the same time.

The final result looks nice, but it lacks treads so it has very little grip. The next step would be 3D printing the treads with a rubber-like material.
