The Mobile Virtual Player is a tackling dummy that is equipped with a motor that can run a 40 meter dash in five seconds. It also with a self-righting mechanism, and is designed to simulate the size, weight, height and speed of an opponent. Uses for it are: tackling, blocking, pursuing, evading, and throwing (at a moving target). It is controlled with a long-range remote controller.

This relates to engineering because this is a new training technology. It is more realistic than a normal tackling dummy, but safer than another player.
