Healing Concrete With Fungi
Researchers at Binghamton University have discovered a way to fix concrete without using hours of hard labor, but with a little bit of science. The researchers at Binghamton have found a fungus called Trichoderma reesi, which is the only fungi that can grow in the harsh environment that is concrete. This idea is still in the early stages and only a few experiments have been done, but it looks very promising so far.
